Ubud Cycling & Waterfall Tour
Explore Bali’s stunning nature as you cycle amidst rice paddies, idyllic little villages and ride by Lake Batur on the 7-hour adventure. Start the day early with a morning hotel pick up and spend some time quietly admiring the beauty of Lake Batur with a refreshing morning tea or coffee before commencing your bike tour.
When ready, hop on a bike and start the journey with a professional tour guide. Discover the less-travelled roads in Bali and bike through beautiful natural landscapes leaving the busy city streets behind. At 2:30 pm take a break and fuel up with an authentic Indonesian lunch and by 3:30 pm you will be back at your hotel with plenty of time left for more adventures.
Your day will begin when you are picked up from your accommodation and driven to Kintamani. The first stop is at a traditional Balinese Coffee plantation, where you can see coffee being produced and sample many of the delicious coffees and teas available. Next stop brunch, You will dine on banana pancakes while sipping fresh coffee and taking in scenic views overlooking Mount Batur and Lake Batur.
After breakfast, the fun begins, a 33 km downhill cycling adventure through some of the beautiful Balinese landscape designed to give you an insight into Balinese life and culture.
With stops at a local school, a traditional home and a stroll through the rice paddies. The more adventurous on tour can ride through the paddies for an authentic experience. The ride ends where no other companies go—a magnificent waterfall and river. You can take a dip, get some photos and cool down before being driven 800 meters, where lunch will be served. After this, you will be driven back to your accommodation.
Balinese Coffee Plantation
Did you know Bali is famous for the most expensive coffee globally, made from coffee beans found in the excrement of a small animal that looks like a cross between a ferret and a raccoon?
The famous and expensive coffee that is fastest growing on this island is called Luwak Coffee. It is produced from the fermentation process that takes civet coffee beans and then removes them through the digestive tract. Coffee Luwak has a unique history behind the legend. In the early 18th century, the Dutch established coffee plantations on the volcanic islands of the Dutch East Indies. This Coffee Luwak Arabica coffee hails from the mystical island of Bali.
The process of the bean passing through the digestive tract of the civet chemically alters the proteins in the Kopi Luwak coffee bean to yield more complex and smooth flavours, not found in conventional coffees. The resulting coffee is said to be like no other in the world. It has a rich, heavy flavour with hints of caramel and or chocolate. Other terms used to describe it are earthy, musty and exotic.
Kintamani
One area which has beautiful scenery and is super exotic in Bali is the Kintamani area. Different tourist attractions in Bangli its location is called Penelokan. The villages of Kintamani and Penelokan provide a great view of Mount Batur and its fantastic lake.
Seven miles in diameter and sixty feet deep, Batur caldera is simply astounding. From Penelokan, take the road Kedisan on the shores of the lake where boats can be rented to cross over to Trunyan. The spectacular mountainous region around Kintamani, with its deep Crater Lake and bubbling hot springs, make this region a must to visit.
The charm of beautiful nature create the impression of a peaceful, overlay view of the valley is also Batur Lake is the largest lake in Bali. Mount Batur, one volcano, is still active, standing in the middle of the caldera make this area one of the most favourite tourist destinations and demand.
Kanto Lampo Waterfall
Locals refer to Kanto Lampo Waterfall as Air Terjun Kanto Lampo. This is a hidden gem in Bali where you can soak in the pristine water and take pictures on the insta-famous rock.
Hidden deep in the jungles of the Gianyar region, Kanto Lampo Waterfall can be an excellent sight for exploration.
This scenic, seasonal waterfall with its water cascading down a stepped rick formation is a stunning view to behold.
Located in the village of Beng Gianyar, this waterfall is also very easy to get to. Unlike other waterfalls, you don’t have to go through miles and miles of hiking and trekking.
Within 15 minutes, you will reach the spot of the waterfall. The slightly under the radar location of Kanto Lampo adds to its uniqueness.
