KL DOWNTOWN (PRIVATE TOUR)

With enviable attractions, inspiring landscapes and exciting food offerings, Kuala Lumpur is fast establishing itself as one of the must-visit destinations for people. KL Downtown (Private Tour) grants you a relaxed trip to familiarize yourself with the downtown life in KL.

This KL Downtown (Private Tour) package includes places and activities such as:

The River of Life
Built behind the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad building, The River of Life here has been named one of the top 10 waterfront districts in the world by the United Kingdom’s Independent news portal. Facts, the Kuala Lumpur city government launched this “River of Life” project as an ambitious decision to transform 10.7 kilometres of waterfront and supporting rivers at a cost of RM4.4 billion.

Kampung Baru Street Food Walk (Optional)
Next to the bustling golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur, a rustic Malay enclave lay quaint and simple – yet rich in traditions. Get this, it’s MALAY food haven, not Malaysian food. Experience the Kampung Baru atmosphere by walking along a stretch f local vendors readying up their carts. Hop from one food stall to another in a bustling market and smoky aroma of meat, grilled over charcoal fire. Immerse yourself in this vibrant village and observe first-hand the day-to-day life of the locals.

Downtown Walk (Danau Kota)
The Danau Kota late-night bazaar is nothing new to the residents nearby. Many have become used to the busy area along Jalan Taman Ibu Kota, which is lined with commercial properties. Enjoy a nice stroll while observing the bazaar that is stocked with a variety of vibrant clothes, odd-looking trinkets, fresh produced goods, handmade souvenirs and local foods.

Independence Square
Undoubtedly KL’s prominent landmark, it is here that the Union Flag was lowered, and the Malaysian flag hoisted for the first time at midnight on 31st August 1957 and was proclaimed “independent”. Despite countless changes to its landscape, Kuala Lumpur has retained its majestic charm with Independence Square and its colonial surroundings at its heart. Even more impressive, there is an old ornamental fountain brought in from Britain in pieces and assembled in 1897.

Sultan Abdul Samad Building
Established as one of Kuala Lumpur’s earliest Moorish-style buildings – this building was constructed in 1897 and was named after the reigning sultan of Selangor at the time. It remains an enduring attraction amidst a rapidly changing city skyline and a great place for you to take stunning landscape architectural pictures.
