It is named after the Taming Sari keris, a mythical weapon said to possess mystical powers belonging to the legendary Malay warrior, Hang Tuah. Even the structure’s design follows the shape of the keris, with the peak of the tower resembling its hilt.

Upside Down House Gallery
The Upside Down House Melaka is a unique exhibition space within Malacca City, where visitors can step into an inverted version of a modern Malaysian house. While Malacca City is well-frequented for its historical landmarks, Jonker Street, as well as the unique Peranakan culture and delicacies, Melaka Upside Down House Gallery is a relatively new addition to its list of family-friendly attractions.
