Coral Hill Trekking Cameron Highlands

Cameron Highlands is renowned for its tea plantations and strawberry farms. However, one thing you definitely don’t want to miss out on during your visit is a wondrous trek through the abundant, green jungles at Coral Hill.

Near the original Mossy Forest of Cameron Highlands sits Coral Hill, an incredible hiking destination. Filled with vibrant green moss and coral-like lichen plants, the trek through nature is a very marvelous experience.

The Coral Hill extends roughly 1650m above sea level. The trail leads to a quartzite summit that is colonized by coral-like lichen plants, beds of mosses, primitive lichen, pitcher plants, many species of wild orchids, Rhododendron plants etc.

On clear days you get a beautiful view of the highest mountain in Cameron Highlands- Gunung Brinchang and the surrounding area.

The trekking continues through a narrow jungle trail towards a mysterious rare Cloud Forest whereby one will ponder the beautiful creation of Mother Nature that look like “The Land of The Hobbits”.

Truly a trail walk meant for nature and plant lovers. A visit to the BOH tea plantation and tea center is included!

08.30 am Pick up and begin tour
08.45 am Start trekking to Coral Hill Mossy forest – Moderate to little hard
09.00 am Reach Coral Hill Mossy Forest area
09.15 am Trek towards the peak to enjoy beautiful Cameron Highlands view
10.15 am Trek back down
11.00 am Arrive at BOH plantation (tea plantation visit)
11.15 am Continue visit to BOH Tea Plantations. Feelfree to enjoy a cup of tea and snacks.
12.30 pm Depart back to meeting point
