KL Tower
The Kuala Lumpur Tower is a communications tower, commonly known as the KL Tower. It features an antenna that increases height to 421 metres and is the 7th tallest freestanding tower globally. Its construction was completed on March 1 1995.

Saloma Link
Saloma Link or Pintasan Saloma is named after Malaysia’s legendary singer-actress. This bridge is 69m or 226 feet long, connecting Kampung Baru to KLCC. This bridge starts at Lorong Raja Muda 3, near the Kampung Baru LRT Station and ends at Jalan Saloma, next to Public Bank tower. It is built across the Klang river and over the roads.

China Town / Petaling Street
Chinatown is a historic tapioca-producing district centred on Petaling Street. Rich in Oriental culture, heritage, and history, Chinatown is one of Malaysia’s most popular tourist spots.
Lively, colourful Chinatown is centred on Petaling Street, known for its fashion boutiques and a large covered market offering food produce, clothes and accessories.

Central Market (Pasar Seni)
Famously known as Pasar Seni, the Central Market was initially established in 1928 as a simple wet market until the early 1980s. It was then renovated to promote handicrafts made by local skilled artists.
The goods here are affordable and include an array of traditional merchandise such as batik textiles, embroidery, carvings, souvenirs and sculptures.

Little India / Brickfields
Little India in Brickfields is a medium-sized town located just outside of the city centre, Kuala Lumpur. Brickfields is more commonly known as the Little India of Kuala Lumpur due to its high percentage of Indian businesses and residents.

Brickfields also got its name from the earlier days when the area was a clay pit, and many bricks were made from the clay. Little India of Brickfields is always a bustling street. You can immediately notice that you have arrived at Little India because the decorations at Brickfields if just one of a kind.
Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station

Kuala Lumpur Sentral is the largest railway station in Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur Sentral is designed as an intermodal transport hub. Kuala Lumpur’s passenger rail lines serve Kuala Lumpur Sentral except for the Ampang, Sri Petaling and Putrajaya Lines. Many intercity trains serving Peninsular Malaysia start here.

National Palace (Istana Negara)
The Istana Negara is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. It is located along with Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim in Segambut, northwestern Kuala Lumpur.
The palace opened in 2011 and replaced the old Istana Negara, located at a different compound in central Kuala Lumpur. The palace complex has an area of 97.65 hectares 22 domes. It is split into three significant portions: the Formal Component, Royal Component, and Administration Component.

Merdeka Square (Dataran Merdeka)
Merdeka Square, also known as Dataran Merdeka or the Independence Square, is a place that bears historical value to all Malaysians. The square is a grass field where erect a 100m high flagpole stands.
So what is so significant about this field and its flagpole inhabitant? The world’s tallest flagpole was erected where the Malaysian flag was hoisted, marking the nation’s freedom from the British on August 31 1957.

River Of Life
The River of Life is one of the most iconic parts of Kuala Lumpur. Located near Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad, the oldest mosque in the city, it is a convergence point of two rivers: the Klang River and the Gombak River. The Klang River, known as Sungai Klang by the locals, streams through the regions of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor and eventually into the straits of Malacca.
One of the main attractions is the “Dancing Symphony Fountain”, featuring a hi-tech water system installed that sprouts to various music rhythms. The musical pieces are a combination of national songs and pop culture. It is known as the “Blue Pool” or “Kolam Biru” in Malay, thanks to the cobalt blue lighting transforming the river into a brilliant blue shade.

Istana Budaya
Istana Budaya (translates as Cultural Palace) was officially opened in 1999 as Malaysia’s National Performing Arts Theatre for cultural events such as classical music concerts, local and international theatre shows, traditional local music, opera and dance performances.
Its design was inspired by the Sireh Junjung, a floral arrangement of betel leaves that are used to welcome guests at Malay weddings and other ceremonial functions.
