Located right in the middle of the Mines Mall, the graceful and fast vessel will take you on a sail of green water around the wonders of the Mines Wellness City.

Not many malls in the world have a waterway right in the epicentre, but The Mines is one of them. The Mines Cruise is a boat ride on two large lakes near The Mines shopping centre in Seri Kembangan, in the southern suburbs of Kuala Lumpur.

The Mines Resort City was built in the late 1980s. It was once a site that was one of the largest open-pit tin mines in the world. The mines were a massive hole in the ground 2 km long, one kilometre wide and 200 meters deep.

When mining activity ceased, the hole filled with rainwater and the two lakes formed.

The largest lake in the North covers 150 acres and is 200 meters deep. The cruise vamooses from The Mines shopping centre, passes the Waterfront Business Park of the mines, the blue building of the headquarters of the Sapura group and the Mines Resort and Golf Club.

Two luxury and elegant hotels also return to this lake: the Palazzo dei Cavalli d’Oro and Philea Mines Beach Resort.

The lake is connected by a canal that runs through the mall. The Mines Cruise is unlike any other typical cruise. Right in the middle of the Mines mall is a lake.

  • Tickets that has been redeemed at the counter will not be refunded
  • There will be a 10% cancellation fee for all refunds
  • All tickets are valid for 6 months from date of purchase
  • You do not need to print the ticket, simply present the QR code via your phone
  • In order to redeem your ticket, please proceed to the attraction’s counters
  • MyKad or MyKid must be presented at the attraction for purchase of Malaysian – with MyKad type tickets
  • Identification card for age verification must be presented at the attraction for purchase of Children type tickets
How will I receive my tickets? Once payment is complete, you will instantly receive an email with QR code and attached PDF with your ticket details.
How do I redeem my tickets? Simply present the QR code on your phone at the attraction counter / staff / operator. The attraction will scan your QR code to get the ticket details.
