Lihaga Island is a remote uninhabited island famous for its beautiful beaches. The combination of white sand beaches and blue water is the primary draw of this island. Lihaga Island is a pristine and gorgeous island. There are not many tourists visiting Lihaga Island due to its remoteness.

Having an area of about 8 hectares, the island is uninhabited. Lihaga Island has a coastline with soft white sand and very clear seawater. No wonder Lihaga is called a virgin island.

To get to this Island from Manado, we have to take the route for about 90 minutes to a small village named Serei, Likupang. After arriving in Likupang, you still have to travel again for approximately 40 minutes using the local fishing boats that used to take tourists from Serei Port.

To reach Lihaga Island, you will take a trip of over 2 hours. But no need to worry. This far travelling will not be in vain because after arriving at this uninhabited island, you will be greeted by the expanse of fine white sandy beach surrounded by the blue ocean.

The underwater scenery around Lihaga Island is similar to the famous Bunaken Marine Park. In this place, you can go snorkelling and enjoy the underwater beauty. Even though Lihaga Island is uninhabited, you do not have to worry because it has provided toilets and changing rooms.

With crystal clear sea water, you must try snorkelling or diving in the waters around Lihaga island. The coral reefs and underwater scenery here are no less beautiful than the diving spots in Indonesia, which were the first worldwide, you know.

What’s exciting is that the sea currents of Lihaga Island are relatively calmer. So, you don’t have to worry about being carried away by large currents during snorkelling or diving. You will definitely feel at home for a long time enjoying the underwater beauty of Lihaga Island.
