Sipiso Piso waterfall is one of the tallest waterfalls in Indonesia. The name Sipiso Piso means ‘like a knife’; it has 120m high, and it is located in Tonggiang village, 45 Kilometers from Berastagi at the northern end of Lake Toba.
Sipiso Piso Waterfall has beautiful scenery and fascinating sightseeing. Among the cliffs that look greenish, the falling water is looking majestic by its grace. As we stand or sit far from the location, we can enjoy the beauty of Sipiso Piso and Lake Toba from a distance at the same time.
Sipiso Piso Waterfall
Sipiso Piso Waterfall is one of the tourist attractions on the island of Sumatra. It is located in Karo Regency, North Sumatra, which is not too far from the residential area of Tongging Village.
This waterfall is located in the hills. With an altitude of about 800 meters above sea level and is surrounded by pine forests. With a height of about 120 meters, Sipiso Piso Waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in Indonesia.
You will be amazed by the charm of Sipiso Piso Waterfall when you are in Tongging Village, the place where this waterfall is located.
Before you see the waterfall up close, pay a visit to the viewing post located at the top of the hill. You will see the beautiful scenery of Tanah Karo. From this viewing post, you can also enjoy the beauty of Samosir Island, an island in the middle of Lake Toba.
Lumbini Natural Park
Indonesia has many stunning architectural Masterpieces, but undoubtedly many of us are only familiar with Borobudur, Prambanan or Garuda Wisnu Kencana in Bali.
Taman Alam Lumbini, also known as the Lumbini Natural Park, is one of the most beautiful pagodas in Indonesia. The Lumbini Natural Park is located in Berastagi, North Sumatra.
The Istiqlal Mosque is one of the largest mosques in Southeast Asia. Among all buildings above Masterpieces, certainly many do not know about Natural Lumbini Park, situated on top of the hill areas of Berastagi North Sumatra. By turning the barrel, we could ask for prayers for our wishes to come true.
Natural splendour Pagoda at Lumbini Park is a magnificent building covered with gold-coloured paints. A very bright, spacious structure is also massive so that you could go around every corner of this pagoda with amazed admiration.
Almost all colours in the Natural Park Lumbini Pagoda has a golden colour and are what make it look grand and luxurious. Underneath is a bracelet ornament ema and the pagoda.
There are four medium-sized Buddha statues in the middle facing the four sides of the room, and in the middle are used as a location for visitors who want to pray. This Lumbini Buddhist temple stands an exceptionally stately and replicates the Shwedagon Pagoda in Burma ( Myanmar ).
Pariban Hot Springs
End the tour and take a hot sulfur bath not far from Panatapan Berastagi.
Pariban hot spring is located in the Lau Debuk-Debuk area, Doulu area, Berastagi sub-district, Karo district, North Sumatra. In Lau Debuk – Debuk, there are many hot springs of sulfur originating from the flow of Mount Sibayak, but recently Pariban hot springs have been superior to other hot springs.
The hot sulfur water is believed to be directly sourced from the mountains. The water can reduce itchy skin caused by fungi.
Pariban hot spring is the prima donna in the Lau Debuk-debuk area compared to the surrounding hot springs because, in this place, there are so many exciting photo spots and stunning views.
With ten hot tubs catering for both adults and kids, it is something to experience in Indonesia!
