Would you like to discover an adventurous way to visit authentic restaurants in Kuala Lumpur? You will see the capital with its pure dynamics, where locals live their traditional life, cooking in an authentic way and offering their specific food to others.

If you love to taste the multiculture gastronomy and are willing to taste local herbs, vegetables, meat and fish in one tour then this tour is ideal. You will visit Indian, Chinese and Malaysian restaurants with non halal food and get a impression of a wide range of products.

As part of the tour, you will get a good quality Dutch bike with hand brakes and gears. There is a basket on it, where you can put your stuff in. We distinguish ourselves in the traffic with orange vests. Helmets are optional.

Our experienced guide will take you around on the bike and sometimes on foot. He/she will brief you about Kuala Lumpur’s history and cultural facts around the tour route.Our guides Speak English. Chinese, French or Dutch speaking guides can be arranged subject to availability.

  • This is a non-halal tour
  • This is a shared group tour with a maximum 12 participants
  • The tour is lightly hilly and for participants from 13 years and up
  • You need to have a good cycle balance
  • We start at 5:30 pm at MikeBikes’ office (MaTIC, Malaysia Tourism Centre) and will be back here around 9:30 pm

  • If you would like to change your date of visit, please contact our Customer Support at least five (5) days before your selected date.
  • Please note that rescheduling is done on a case-to-case basis and may not be possible at all times.

  • You do not need to print the ticket, simply present the QR code via your phone.
  • In order to redeem your ticket, please proceed to the attraction’s counters.
  • MyKad or MyKid must be presented at the attraction for purchase of Malaysian – with MyKad type tickets.
How will I receive my tickets? Once payment is complete, you will instantly receive an email with QR code and attached PDF with your ticket details.
How do I redeem my tickets? Simply present the QR code on your phone at the attraction counter / staff / operator. The attraction will scan your QR code to get the ticket details.
Is this ticket refundable if I do not visit the attraction? Please read the Cancellation Policy and Terms & Conditions for more information.
Must I have cycle experience? Yes, it is a must that you have cycle experience and that you are be able to cycle in traffic in your own environment in a safe way. You have to got a basic balance on the bicycle and easily can make starts and stops. All tours are an easy pace. The rpoute of the Pitstop Foodie Tour is hilly. A good balance and normal physical health is necessary.
Will the tour continue when it rains? The bike tours always do. A rain shower is nothing unusual in an Asian country. There is also a daily rain shower in Kuala Lumpur. You can get wet… It is very refreshing!
What is the best way to get to Mike Bikes, 109 Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur? There are several possibilities:

  • You can take the Grab taxi (app) or randomly take any other taxi. If Grab, fill out destination ‘MikeBikes’. During the rush it takes a little more time.
  • You can come with the purple bus GO KL (free, but very busy with locals). It stops right in front of the MaTIC.
  • Via the LRT Kelana Jaya Line, halte KJ 10, KLCC (scroll down), 10 minutes walk.
  • Via monorail, halte MR 8, Bukit Nanas, 5 minutes walk.
  • Stop 1 of the Hop On Hop Off bus start at the MaTIC.
  • Or you can come on foot to MikeBikes’ office in the Malaysia Tourism Centre, MaTIC, 109 Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur.
