Nusa Lembongan Day Tour + Snorkelling with Manta Rays

Snorkelling is one of the most popular marine tourism activities that many vacationists are interested in joining while travelling to Bali’s island. Being a tropical island, Bali has numerous locations to go snorkelling. It can sometimes be challenging to choose from the many areas. One of the most popular snorkelling locations around Bali is the islands of Nusa Penida.

So many international divers are interested in snorkelling or diving in the waters of Nusa Bali. The seas between Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan have magnificent underwater views. When you dive or snorkel in Nusa Penida, you will see the underwater scenery, such as healthy coral reefs and various aquatic life.

Manta Point
The location of Manta Bay is in the west of the island of Nusa Penida. Manta Bay is the most famous Nusa Penida Snorkeling Spot. It is interesting to many people to do snorkelling activities, and there are many manta rays around the sea. The size also varies, from minor to measuring more than 1 meter. Manta rays are very friendly with humans who snorkel at the Manta Bay spot. Do not touch manta rays because it can damage the skin of manta rays because manta rays are very sensitive.

Gamat Bay
Gamut Bay is the place for you if you are looking for a secluded spot without too many tourists crowding the area.

It is rather tricky to access by land, as the road is relatively narrow, so most who do go down to Gamat Bay by boat. The tough trip is worth it because the coral reef is flourishing with underwater creatures. A snorkelling Gamat Bay is never without the company of lively fish swimming around corals. There are also turtles; the lucky snorkeler may spot bamboo sharks and manta rays.

Gamat Bay is a plateau about 26 feet (8 metres) deep. The currents at Gamat Bay are powerful, so bring your fins when snorkelling, and be sure not to stray too far from the beach for your safety.

Crystal Bay
Crystal Bay is one of the rare beaches on Nusa Penida that allows snorkellers of all abilities to enjoy a day exploring the waters. There are beach waters for those less experienced at snorkelling, so everyone can swim around carefreely but still thrive with ocean life.
It is no spectacle that Crystal Bay is one of the most popular beaches. The coral reefs are gorgeous, and the water is crystal clear, as the beach’s name suggests. This beach is also an exceptionally dreamy snorkelling spot for all. Snorkellers can also hope to spot turtles and even the Mola Mola, one of the heaviest bony fish globally, growing to about 6 feet (1.8 metres) and 2204 pounds (1000 kilograms)!

Mangrove Point
The Mangrove Point Nusa Lembongan is one of the famous snorkelling locations in Bali. Mangrove Point is located at the northern end of the Jungut Batu Village in Nusa Lembongan.
The current conditions here are very light. Nusa Lembongan Mangrove Point is an easy drift snorkeling. The drift snorkelling on Mangrove Point is simply floating passively while using snorkelling gear and allowing the weak currents to carry you across the seawater and explore a colourful underwater.

Panorama Point
Panorama Point is located in a hilly area, so it does come with beautiful scenery. The rural villages become the most noticeable background alone beautiful sea panorama. Not to mention Jungut Batu Pier, several boats can be seen clearly from that spot. What is more? The location is considered strategic, as tourists often drop by before reaching Devil’s Tears and Mushroom Beach.

Devil’s Tear
Devils Tear is a unique cave pool on the edge of rocky cliffs found on the southwest coast of Nusa Lembongan Bali. It is one of the top sites to see on the island, with plenty of exploring along the coastline. Devils Tear is located just around the corner from Dream Beach. It’s quite a short distance to walk there from Dream Beach, which will take you no more than 5 minutes.
Devils Tear attracts visitors to see the forceful flow of water entering the cave and spitting it again with a roar. The water inside Devil’s Tear is crystal clear, and you may be lucky enough to spot some green sea turtles cruising around in the cove.

Dream Beach
Dream Beach is one of the island’s most epic beach locations, boasting golden sands, cliff jumps, turquoise waters, colourful reefs, rugged viewpoints, and hidden caves. A visit to Dream Beach should be at the top of your Nusa Lembongan things-to-do list. It’s the island’s most famous beach, so you can expect to see many tourists here. To avoid the crowds, try to visit early morning.
At low tide, you can walk around the rocky headland and into a cave to discover a secluded beach you will most likely have all to yourself. For the thrill-seekers, the cliffs near Dream Beach can be explored, and you will find some fantastic cliff jumping spots.
