Learn Penang Culture’s origin from one of the most historical building situated in Penang Pier where trading of many countries had once occurred which molded Penang to where it stands today! Our museum was a branch and a warehouse of Behn Meyer Co in 1891 which traded in tin and tobacco. To better the learning experience of Penang’s Culture, the Great Wall of Penang greets you the moment you arrive and take you back in time to have a glimpse of Weld Quay’s prosperous past. In the inner section, Miniatures of Weld Quay and Local Trades share stories of Penang’s Culture with amazingly detailed sculptures. Imagining history has never been easier and more fun with us!

Made in Penang Interactive Museum presents to you our very own 3D Art Gallery which is definitely a real life mind trickery that incredibly represents Penang’s Culture in the most interactive way. All the artworks displayed are Penangite’s most beloved local delights traditions, famous landmarks and more. What’s more remarkable about these artworks? They’re all created by talented local artists. It’s really a diamond in the rough.

Knowledge about Malaysia’ Culture isn’t everything if you’re not REALLY experiencing it. So, we’ve incorporated Games Room which has life-size traditional games like congkak & pick-up sticks into our museum. Bringing childhood memories back to life with a bit of spice. It’s a GAME CHANGER you can’t find anywhere else!

Finally, we OFFER YOU our NEW Art & Craft Workshop. Learn HOW TO create Malaysia most FAMOUS traditional arts like kite, pinwheel and batik drawing with us! Not a crafty person, no fret, we got your back. Guidance by our friendly tour guides is gladly provided.

  • You do not need to print the ticket, simply present the QR code via your phone
  • In order to redeem your ticket, please proceed to the attraction’s counters
  • MyKad or MyKid must be presented at the attraction for purchase of Malaysian – with MyKad type tickets
  • Identification card for age verification must be presented at the attraction for purchase of Children type tickets
How will I receive my tickets?Once payment is complete, you will instantly receive an email with QR code and attached PDF with your ticket details.
How do I redeem my tickets?Simply present the QR code on your phone at the attraction counter / staff / operator. The attraction will scan your QR code to get the ticket details.
