National Palace (Istana Negara)
The Istana Negara is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. It is located along with Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim in Segambut, northwestern Kuala Lumpur.
The palace opened in 2011 and replaced the old Istana Negara, located at a different compound in central Kuala Lumpur. The palace complex has an area of 97.65 hectares 22 domes. It is split into three significant portions: the Formal Component, Royal Component, and Administration Component.

Perdana Lake Gardens
The Perdana Botanical Garden, formerly known as Taman Tasik Perdana or Lake Gardens, is situated in the Heritage Park of Kuala Lumpur. It has always been a part of the city’s green lung and has a history of over a decade.
Initially created as part of a recreational park but planted with collections of tropical plants, the Garden has been rehabilitated and turned into a Botanical Garden.

Bird Park
Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is a 20.9-acre (8.5 ha) public aviary in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located adjacent to the Lake Gardens within a KL green lung in Bukit Aman, close to the National Mosque and Royal Malaysian Police Museum.
The Bird Park houses more than 3,000 birds representing more than 200 species in an enclosed aviary. About 90% are local birds, and 10% were imported from Australia, China, Holland, Indonesia, New Guinea, Tanzania and Thailand.

National Mosque (Masjid Negara)
Masjid Negara is a national legacy built between 1963 and 1965. The Mosque took about three years for designing, taking inspiration from the mosque in India, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Spain. Its most significant features are its 73-metre high minaret, which resembles a folded umbrella.
Its 16-point concrete roof’s unique design gives one the impression of standing beneath a gigantic open umbrella. In the middle of the top are engravings of Quranic verses on aluminium, inspired by Istanbul’s Blue Mosque.

Merdeka Square (Dataran Merdeka)

Launched in 2002, Aquaria KLCC is a sizeable indoor marine park that sprawls over 60,000 square feet in a buildup area. Within its collections, there are 5,000 exhibits, both aquatic and semi-aquatic, in which a wide variety of marine life and various wildlife thrive.
