ISLAND HOPPING with Private Boat

Enjoy a captivating 3 hour and 30 minute excursion in the islands of Langkawi. This Langkawi Island Hopping Package lets you explore the wonders of Langkawi on a private boat with friends or family. Wholesome fun is in store for you as you experience three different tropical islands. Take a good swim at Pulau Dayang Bunting as it churns out perfectly shaped waves that will thrill you, feed the bold and might eagles on the shores of Pulau Singa, then bask on the white shores or go snorkelling in the cool waters of Pulau Beras Basah.

Jump into a boat and use nature’s power to travel. What better way to reconnect than spending time outside in the natural environment! Quality time away from noisy buses and trains and high-rise buildings is a perfect way to unwind. Langkawi Island Hopping Package includes boat trips to:

Pulau Dayang Bunting (Lake of Pregnant Maiden)
Herein lies the mythical lake on the island of Dayang Bunting that’s popular with its own tales. Its name literally translates to ‘Lake of Pregnant Maiden’ as it resembles the silhouette of a reclined pregnant lady from afar. It also believed by the locals that barren women will become fertile after taking a dip in this freshwater lake.

An hour is given for you to soak in the environment here, and that includes a 10 – 12 minutes one-way walk up a long flight of stairs up to the mountain to reach the lake. It gets a little hot too so do bring your water bottles along, wear a sunblock or a hat, anything that works for you! Once you’ve reached the lake, you’ll be blown away by the scenic freshwater lake surrounded by mountains. Interestingly, the lake was formed when a large underwater cave collapsed many years back so you are bound to experience an amazing sight of limestone cliffs that all fall under Pulau Dayang Bunting; the second largest in the 99-island cluster that makes up the Langkawi archipelago.

Here you can indulge in several activities to enrich your experience. Think of what you’d like to explore best. Perhaps you’d like to swim in the cool waters of the lake, or maybe even go solar paddle boating, feel the wind in your hair and cruise in the open water. Perhaps you can unwind and relax with a natural catfish spa, of course they’d nibble and you feel a funny sensation – takes a while to get used to but compelling, nonetheless! Walk through the forest and capture sights of the Miracle Border where a thin rocky bridge separates the lake from the sea, or just lounge on the wooden planks by the lake. See if you can catch sight of some mudskippers! If you’re looking for some refreshments, take a walk around the small shops nearby offering drinks and snacks. Then get a souvenir or two before heading to the next island.

Pulau Singa (Big Lion Island)

Along the waters of the island, the boat takes you to Pulau Singa Besar. Despite the literal translation of its name, “Island of Big Lions”, Mufasa and Simba are not in sight! In fact, there are no lions around. A fantastic activity of eagle feeding show awaits you and the great part is, you don’t even have to get off the boat! Stopped a distance away from shore and in the midst of the boat rocking with the waves, you will hear the shrills from up above. Raise your head and gaze upon at least a dozen of the magnificent golden-brown eagles soaring freely against the backdrop of cloudy sky! The sight of these birds flying around is rather spectacular. Now although you don’t really partake in feeding the eagles directly, it’s still worth an experience to see how it’s done. The delivery of foods makes them fly in a frenzy. In no time, you will see many of them hovering around and diving for the treats.

Dino View Island

Prepare to be amazed by the stunning vistas of Dino View Island, a natural wonder within Langkawi’s enchanting archipelago. Famous for its unique rock formations that resemble a dinosaur’s profile, this island is a visual spectacle best admired from the waters.

Surrounded by crystal-clear seas and lush greenery, Dino View Island offers a perfect photo opportunity for nature lovers and adventurers alike. Its raw beauty and striking landscape make it a highlight of your island-hopping experience. Don’t forget to bring your camera and capture the prehistoric charm of this incredible island before moving on to the next destination!
