One of the most impressive engineering works on the island, Teluk Bahang Dam was built to provide an alternative water supply. Its clear deep blue waters that shimmer with the sky light and the hues of lush greenery that surrounds the valley creates a picturesque scene for one to remember.

Teluk Bahang Craft Batik – Batu Ferringhi
Established back in 1973, this was the first batik factory in Penang. Coming a long way, this special place still produces batik textile products and sessions set aside to educate people on the art of crafting batik. Take this chance to get your hand on a paintbrush where you get to apply the colours on a batik motif on a white shirt. When the painting is done, take a step back and admire the work you have painted. Who knows, you might bring out the creative artist in you. Learning doesn’t always have to be black and white, it could be full of colours on a batik.
