East Nusa Penida Day Tour
East Nusa Penida Day Tour is one of the best day trips from the Bali mainland to explore and experience the eastern part of Nusa Penida.
Nusa Penida Island is a row of three small islands located across the southern island of Bali as well as part of Klungkung regencies, such as Nusa Gede, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan.
If you are visiting the island of Bali, Indonesia, then you might want to know that there is a nearby island that is amazing to see if you are going to avoid the loud crowds. Go on a captivating trip to the East of the Nusa Penida and revel in the joys of its serene atmosphere and panoramic landscape.
Nusa Penida is a relatively undeveloped island southeast of mainland Bali. You will not find the flamboyant beach clubs, organic cafes or stylish restaurants here, but Nusa Penida is still worthy of a visit, and it houses some of the most photogenic vistas in Bali.
Spend the day on the tranquil island of Nusa Penida. The island is an exotic and still virgin island that can be reached in merely 35 to 45 minutes by a speed boat from Sanur Beach. Its untouched magnificence, particularly the still pristine beaches and the high cliff views along the island’s east and south coast, are fantastic and unique places to be seen.
Nusa means “island”, and Penida means “priests” in Balinese. Therefore, referring to the island as “Nusa Penida Island” isn’t necessary. It would just be redundant.
On Nusa Penida, you will find hidden beaches and be able to gaze over the edge of cliffs, climb to waterfalls and explore the roads through the jungle.
Palm trees and lush greenery line the roads, and waves crash against the edges of the islands, leaving you in wonderment.
Pantai Atuh (Atuh Beach)
Among the beaches on the treasure island of Nusa Penida, Atuh Beach remains at one the top of the list as the most beautiful beaches with killer views.
The view is a breath of fresh air. The glistening turquoise ocean is well-guarded by craggy mountain peaks and the perfectly laid out stretch of white sand that begs to be walked on.
Atuh Beach on Nusa Penida, or Pantai Atuh as it’s known in Bahasa, is one of the most epic beaches in Bali. It’s a rough drive and a short hike down to the beach, but boy, oh boy, isn’t this incredible little bay worth it!
Atuh Beach on Nusa Penida is the type of place that takes your breath away at first glance. From the top of the stairs, the view is already pretty insane. The arch that runs along with the rock formation out in the water, the vast sheer drop-off of the cliffs and the amphitheatre-like white sandy beach at the base of it all is a sight to behold.
The hike down the stairs takes only ten minutes but is quite steep, which you will realize on the way back up. The density of the trees and vines hide the view from you for most of the short hike. A break in the foliage gives you a small window into Atuh Beach.
This beach is called the “Hidden Beach” because it is so closely guarded by the cliffs, making it difficult to spot.
Aside from the usual beachside activities like enjoying the calm sea breeze as you dig into a book, you can also snorkel, dive, or jump from the arch cliff.
The beach provides a mix of everything. You have the crystal clear water, the white sand, the fantastic view from the top, a spectacular path to cross and a kind of harmony you cannot find somewhere else.
Pulau Seribu (Thousand Islands)
Thousand Island (Pulau Seribu) Viewpoint is located on the east coast of Nusa Penida Island. The viewpoint is one of the attractions on the island and looks along the beautiful coast of Nusa Penida. It’s not far from the famous Atuh Beach.
Thousand Islands Nusa Penida is located in the Pelilit area, Tanglad Village, in the district of Nusa Penida. The place that could zap you with all the beauty. The beach is adjacent to Atuh Beach, which has already been widespread.
Thousand Island is a hill above the sea and has fantastic views. You will be amazed at the sight of the composition of rocks and cliffs like a sturdy fortress that protects the Hill.
You might be wondering what Pulau Seribu means, and it just means Thousand Island. This location is sometimes referred to as Pulau Seribu and sometimes as the Thousand Island Viewpoint.
Thousand Island (Pulau Seribu) Viewpoint or Raja Lima is one of the most spectacular spots to take in the ocean breeze and spend a moment appreciating exactly where you are.
The viewpoint is not of the well-known attractions on Nusa Penida, but it is one of the top things to do on this amazing island of Bali.
Two viewpoints give a different angle of the beautiful eastern rock formations and crystal blue Bali Sea.
Bukit Teletubbies (Hill of Teletubbies)
The Teletubbies Hill (also known as Bukit Teletubbies) is a bit different from anything else Nusa Penida has to offer, even though it’s an island full of bizarre and unique sights!
This group of big round hills in the centre of the island is named after resembling the background scenery from the Teletubbies kids show.
Teletubbies Hill has a beautiful landscape with an undulating pasture covered in verdant green grass, ferns, and lavender.
Bukit Teletubbies or Teletubbies Hill as a place that is fun and Instagram worthy. This Hill was given the name because the Teletubbies site is almost like shooting film Teletubbies. High mounds dotted the grass, plants are green, and the distance between the adjacent hills.
The shape is also a smooth half-circle. This Hill of limestone is covered with thin soil so that the grass can grow there. This Is The Teletubbies Hill Nusa Penida. The grass that rises above the Hill gives beautiful green shades on the hills.
The Uniqueness Of The Teletubbies Hill Nusa Penida when to take pictures or view Teletubbies Hill. From Teletubbies Hill, you can see the houses around Nusa Penida and small that look an awful lot. Of course, from the top of the Hill, this very charming natural scenery.
On a clear day, you can see the neighbouring island of Lombok and the almighty Mount Rinjani, the second largest volcano in Indonesia.
In the valleys between Teletubbies Hill are terraced fields of food crops and random clusters of coconut palm trees.
