Annah Rais Bidayuh Longhouse Half Day Tour in Sarawak

Visit one of the Bidayuh tribe’s last remaining traditional longhouses. Admire the bamboo longhouses’ distinctive architecture and cultural features. Explore this living Bidayuh Village with your local guide and see where old human skulls are still worshipped by the tribe today. Enjoy freshly cooked bamboo chicken and wild fern on the tanju.

Itinerary

Pickup Time : 8:30 a.m
- Meet at your hotel lobby in Kuching.
Begin the journey to Annah Rais Bidayuh Longhouse, located in the heart of the Padawan District.
- The drive takes approximately 1 hour.
Upon arrival, be greeted by Bidayuh hosts who will serve Rice Wine (Tuak) as a welcoming gesture.

- Explore the first longhouse called “Saba Longhouse,” where you’ll learn about the culture and traditions of the Bidayuh people.
- Cross the bridge to visit the next longhouse, “Sijoh Longhouse,” to gain further insights into Bidayuh village life.
After visiting the two longhouses and experiencing Bidayuh hospitality, depart from Anah Rais
Bidayuh Longhouse.
