This week we have SABAH for you which is a new state of attraction in Tripcarte as requested by the customers. Here we go!

1. SEMPORNA DAY TRIP (SNORKELLING)

Honestly, this trip is a must for everyone to try at least once in your lifetime. Probably there is nothing much to say about Semporna state, but it is so good to get there. This is said so because it is an excellent gateway to many other islands. There are probably more than 15 islands that can be discovered around Semporna. Each island has a unique purpose and beauty of nature to be explored.

If you’re someone that loves beaches, then you should try this. Semporna day trip offers the visitor to explore to all the island that is around the state. There are 5 different packages offered based on your interest.

One of the famous island over here is Pom Pom island. It is densely wooded with small trees, especially from the pandanus family. This island is one of the tourist main attraction since it is the king of snorkelling. You can discover many uncommon, rare species of marine lives, 500 plus coral species and 43 coral mushroom in the sea. Not to forget, one more volcanic island is the Mataking island.

There is a luxury island resort built on a private tropical island in one of the most pristine corners of the world. The diving at Mataking is combining the best of both worlds: Sipadan’s big fishes and pelagics with Mabul underwater macro marine life and muck diving. This island is also famous for romantic holidays that offers hotels and chalets just a few steps from the white beach.

2. SAPI AND MANUKAN ISLAND ADVENTURES

Feel your feet sink slightly into the soft, sandy beach of Sapi and Manukan Island, a boomerang-shaped island that is the second largest in the park.

It is a lovely island, secluded and worth the visit with greenery breathtaking white and clear water everywhere. Remarkable ecosystem found on the island. Experience the mesmerising snorkelling and truly adventurous trip at Sapi and Manukan Islands. Among all other islands, this is voted as the most favourite of tourist. Not only it offers many nature experience, but this island also offers many different activities. Such as island to island zipline. Water activities such as parasailing, trekking where you can come across with some animals and many more that makes this island sound more interesting. It is the second smallest island of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park but offers more facilities and memories for tourist.

The exciting fact is once you arrived at the Sapi Island, thousands of fishes and beautiful sea view at the jetty will start catching your attention and impress you, that most of you will think “it’s going to be an awesome tour!” as I do.

3. MANTANANI SNORKELLING

Mantanani Island is a group of three isolated islands which boast the crystal clear blue waters that filled with millions of marine lives and white sandy beaches. The island is fringed by coconut palm trees making it an excellent destination for snorkelling, scuba diving or island hopping.

Here the island is all yours to explore. One can stay for days and be completely complacent enough with this mountainous island life. This is a tranquil, relaxing island covered with crystal clear water and soft sand beneath your feet. For people who love high waves of water, can go for the speed boat that super fast and hitting all the locks so the boats will be jumping and smacking down on the water repeatedly.

It is mainly famous for snorkelling where you will come across with beautiful corals and abundance of turtles, fishes and jellyfishes. Travel deep into the water of the secluded island and meet colourful fish and elegant stingrays. For birdwatchers, the Mantanani Islands is also a comprehensive island to see the birds that usually nest on islands.

4. Kinabalu Park + Poring Hot Spring + Desa Dairy Farm

If you’re the type person that enjoys beautiful scenery, nature, culture, food and staying at a cool place, Kinabalu Park, Poring hot spring and Desa dairy farm tour is designed for you.

Firstly talking about Kinabalu park, it is Malaysia’s first World Heritage site and one of the highest mountains in South East Asia standing at 4095.2 meters. The Park home to more than 5,000 vascular plant species and some 90 lowland mammal species. Photogenics love this mountain since it is their favourite to get a perfect picture. Besides that, Poring Hot Spring is famous for spring’s hot sulphuric minerals that deemed to have healing properties. You may de-stress and soak away the sores and aches of your muscles at the hot spring here.

There are also other exciting areas in the park to be visited such as the butterfly farm, the tropical garden, the Poring canopy walkway and the Rafflesia flower site.

Another iconic place is Desa dairy farm. It is an ideal destination for the whole family. There are activities such as feeding the calves with bottled milk, feeding goats with grass, how milk is processed as well as the milking process are available for all. Here you can get some souvenirs, especially the popular dairy products like Desa Cattle’s milk in a box as well as their ice cream.
